The controller is established in Poland, so the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to all processing described here, wherever you live.
Your quiz answers
Quiz answers are processed only in your browser. They are not sent to our server, not stored, and not linked to your identity. We have no technical way to see them.
Your quiz result link
After a quiz, the result page address contains a short summary after the # sign: your result type and the suggested time frame. Your answers themselves are not included. This part of the address is not sent to the server. If you share the full link, the person you send it to will see your summary.
Links for comparing answers with a partner
Some quizzes can be taken as a couple. In that case your answers are written into the link itself, in the part after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part to the server, so we never receive it. However, anyone who has the link can see your answers. Only share it with someone you are comfortable showing them to.
Server logs
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA). With every request, the hosting provider automatically processes your IP address, the time of the request and browser information. This is necessary to run and protect the site; the legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel acts on our behalf. Transfers to the US rely on the mechanisms of Chapter V GDPR. Logs are kept for a limited time and are not used for profiling.
Cookies, analytics, fonts
The site itself and its analytics set no cookies and store nothing in your browser for tracking. The one exception is advertising, described in the next section. For visit statistics we use PostHog (PostHog Inc., data stored in the EU) in cookieless mode: we record page views, the page address without the part after the # sign, device and browser type, country, the fact that a quiz was started and finished, with the quiz name, and the fact that a link to Telegram was followed, with a label for where on the page it was. Your answers to quiz questions and your result are never sent to analytics, sessions are not recorded, and IP addresses are anonymised. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in knowing which content is useful (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). PostHog acts on our behalf. Fonts are served from our own server, with no requests to third parties.
Links to quizzes in Telegram
Some pages of the Russian version link to our quizzes in Telegram. That is a separate service, and the rule that your answers never leave your browser does not apply there.
Until you click the link, Telegram receives nothing about you: the Site has no Telegram widgets or scripts, and the QR code is a plain image drawn on our server. When you follow the link, it carries only the name of the quiz in the bot and a generic label for where on the Site the link was, such as “result page” or “home page”. Your answers and your result from the Site are not passed to the bot. We do not pass the address of the page you came from either.
In the bot, your answers are stored on a server together with your Telegram account ID and name. If you order a full report, your answers are sent to Google so that the Gemini model can generate the text. The data controller is the same as for the Site. The bot shows its terms under /terms, and you can erase your data with /delete. Telegram processes your data under its own policy, which we do not control. The bot is currently available in Russian only.
Advertising
Some articles show ads from Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited). There are no ads on quiz pages and their results, on articles with an embedded quiz, on the help page or in legal documents. Your quiz answers are never passed to advertising systems.
Visitors from the EU, the UK and Switzerland see a Google consent window before ads are shown. Advertising cookies and personalised ads are used only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can refuse in that window and change your choice later through the privacy settings link at the bottom of any page with ads. Without consent you see non-personalised ads or no ads at all. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict processing and to object to it. Write to hello@pairclear.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection authority: in Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych), or the authority in the country where you live.
